FAQs

Q?What is the Phoenix Cafe and how long have you guys been around?
A.

The Phoenix opened in September 2009, and continues to serve the community as a volunteer-based music venue, art gallery, café, meeting space. To allow us to continue for yet another year, we are asking from support from those that want to see us grow. This can be in the form of $5 donation to the event and finding out about our sustainers program.

Q?Does the Phoenix Cafe serve alcohol?
A.

No we don’t. We do not permit alcohol on the premises.

Q?What kind of drinks do you offer?
A.

We aren’t Starbucks, but we do offer an amazing cup of Chazzano Coffee.  Also we have an assortment of tea, water, various soft drinks, and whatever else is in the fridge at the moment.

Q?What is required for attire?
A.

Clothes please. And unless it is for a special event (Hallow Art or otherwise), you can just dress as you comfortably do. If that means lederhosen, so be it.

Q?Hey, who’s in charge here?
A.

That would be either Hans Barbe or Steve Gamburd. A fine couple of guys. If you have any questions, they will answer you. Anything but Steampunk.

Q?What form of payment do you guys accept?
A.

Benjamins, Bills, Bones, Bread, Bucks, Cabbage, Cheddar, Clams, Dough, Greenbacks, Lettuce, Loot, Moola, Smackers, or Wampum. So, in short, cash.

Q?Where do I park?
A.

Parking is available on the back and side of the building.  There are also some spaces in the front on John R. (no parking meters!)
